LONDON: At minimum 14 individuals were harmed in a suspected gas blast at the Hyatt Regency lodging in Central London where previous president Asif Ali Zarardi was staying on Friday night, reports said.

The impact occurred right away before midnight at the five-star Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, in Portman Square, Marylebone.

As indicated by a tweet by Geo's correspondent Murtaza Ali Shah, the previous president was not inside the lodging at the time of the blast.


The London Ambulance Service said five of the harmed were taken to a doctor's facility.

As indicated by the London Fire Brigade, the blast happened at around 23:40 GMT in the cellar of the inn, bringing on a piece of the building to fall.
