PESHAWAR: A collaborator sub-overseer (ASI) was shot dead by unidentified attackers in the early hours of Thursday close Wazir Bagh range of Peshawar. 

Police said outfitted men opened fire on ASI Asif Mehmood's vehicle close Yakatoot police headquarters as he was heading out with his child to drop him to class. 

Mehmood passed on the spot, police said, including that the attackers sped away on their cruiser in the wake of propelling the assault. 

Mehmood, whose body was moved to Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital, was serving as ASI at the Yakatoot police headquarters 

Late on Wednesday, obscure shooters shot dead two individuals in Peshawar's Sufaid Dheri zone. No captures have been made so far regarding that episode. 

The assault on the ASI comes days after the a suicide assault focused on high-positioning military authority Brigadier Khalid Bajwa in the common capital of KP. Javed barely got away from the blast and the assault was asserted by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). 

Peshawar is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area and has seen scores of assaults on law requirement faculty previously.
