LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, once again, proclaimed he was stepping down from the party leadership on Sunday, solely to withdraw the choice at intervals hours. He took back the choice "on the insistence of party workers".

MQM's high leadership had earlier opted to resign from the Rabita Committee in a very bid to bring Altaf back to the party. an outsized range of party staff and leaders had gathered at the MQM headquarters in Karachi to specific commonality with their party leader, in a very successful  bid to induce him to withdraw his call.

In a telecom address to his charged supporters outside MQM headquarters 9 Zero, Hussain aforementioned, "Once once more, i am agreeing to my supporters' desires."

Last year, Altaf Hussain had proclaimed his resignation, solely to withdraw his call once a number of hours, on the insistence of party staff.

In his message to the party earlier on Sunday, the MQM Chief expressed he had didn't play his role effectively. He additionally lambasted the Rabita Committee whom he claimed were ignoring his recommendation on key problems.

“I asked the [Rabita] Committee to stay their ways in which straight...but they did not. currently they're liberated to select their leader,” he said. Later MQM leader Farooq Sattar, whereas reprimand media, listed the "faults and mistakes" of the Rabita Committee, and had wanted Altaf's come back to the party.

As a results of the inner crisis, the MQM Central Coordination Committee has sent in resignations from Parliament of its seven senators, fifty one provincial and twenty four national assembly members to Altaf Hussain, with a message stating “we admit our mistakes", which it had been up to the MQM Chief to currently decide for any more course of action.
