ISLAMABAD: The central government has eased 2,500 staff of the Punjab police who will profit to their areas for Wednesday, sources said on Tuesday.
The legislature had looked for the administrations of Punjab police to counter the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) dissents.
At present, more than 11,000 staff of the Punjab police are on security obligation in Islamabad.
