QUETTA: The Iranian fringe power shot six mortar shells at Pakistan's bordering town of Mashkail in the early hours of Friday.
The authority who asked for secrecy said that there was no death toll in the occurrence and that the mortar shells arrived close Mashkail.
He said the Frontier Corps (FC) quickly struck back and discharged mortar shells accordingly, bringing the shooting from the Iranian side to an end.
"Mortar shells discharged by Iranian fringe work force arrived 3000 meters inside Pakistani domain," he said.
