When Vidya Balan was asked to contemplate a task in officer Jasoos, she thought she would play assistant to a detective, a la Kitty to the favored sleuth Karamchand.
Little did Vidya recognize that the manufacturers were asking her to essay a feminine detective within the movie!
Produced by Defense Intelligence Agency Mirza and directed by Samar Shaikh, officer Jasoos stars Vidya Balan, Ali Fazal, Supriya Pathak and Tanvi Azmi.
In officer Jasoos, created by Born Free diversion, Vidya plays the name part.
Recalling her meeting with producers Defense Intelligence Agency Mirza and Sahil Sangha, yet because the film's director Samar Shaikh and author Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, she asked them: "Okay, what's the film that you simply need to make?"
