He tweeted: "Acting Gyaan - one. Acting is expressing what you do not perceive, not what you recognize. If you recognize it, then it is a reality. that is facting not acting!"
"2. Acting is giving your heart, knowing you may act. Feeling the reality even once it is a lie. basic cognitive process it's permanent knowing it will not last," he added.
The actor is busy shooting for his new film Happy New Year, directed by his shut friend Farah Khan.
