Ever since Emraan Hashmi’s next with director Kunal Deshmukh has been proclaimed, there has been speculation that his character within the film is predicated on the lifetime of conman Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava aka Natwarlal from state.
But Kunal clarifies voice communication his film isn’t supported Natwarlal. He says, “Emraan plays a street-hustler — Raja — within the film, WHO aspires to be an enormous conman like Natwarlal.”
When asked why then the film is named Raja Natwarlal, Kunal says, “It’s for a few completely different reasons. For any conman in Republic of India, Natwarlal is associate degree idol and Raja has similar aspirations. that's the rationale behind the title. excluding that, there's no association to the lifetime of Natwarlal.”
For the uninitiate, Natwarlal went on to ‘sell’ the mausoleum and therefore the Indian Parliament. He reportedly visited jail ninefold and managed to flee on eight occasions.
Even last year, reports were rife that Akshay Kumar’s character in Neeraj Pandey’s Special twenty six was modelled on Natwarlal. Reportedly, the conman was conjointly a plan for Amitabh Bachchan’s action-comedy, Mr Natwarlal (1979).
